Capital City Ball Inc

It is unacceptable that human trafficking exists anywhere, but it is especially troubling that it is a significant problem right here in Washington, DC.  We at Capital City Ball are determined use our events to raise money and awareness to fight human trafficking.

The Capital City Ball was created in September 2007 by a group of DC area professionals who saw an opportunity to create a high caliber, annual black tie party for the weekend before Thanksgiving. The proceeds of which would go to a very important charitable cause.

Throughout the years the Capital City Ball has grown from a single black tie reception, to the current Capital City Ball which hosts events throughout the year culminating with our annual black tie gala the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  At each event we raise awareness of the issue of human trafficking and funds for our charity partners.

The Capital City Ball has no paid staff and is run by volunteers. The Ball is truly a team effort. It draws on the efforts of our own executive and host committee members as well as the staff and volunteers from our charity beneficiaries.  Support from our corporate sponsors, vendors, and guests are vital to the success of this event.

We look forward to seeing you at our Capital City Ball events and we encourage you to learn more about our charity beneficiaries while giving them your support.
